The town of Kutná Hora is one of the twelve UNESCO World Heritage sites in the Czech Republic. The town is located just around 75 km / 50 miles east of Prague. The town was very important in the Middleages as it had an important monastery and big silver mines. It's historical heart is beautifully preserved with several gothic churches. There is also the ossuary (bone church), a very special place that is worth the visit.
